Mastering the Art of Street Photography with Matt Stuart and Stephen McLaren

A six-week course with two of the best street photographers in the land
Street Photography is one of the most exciting and accessible photographic genres around with vibrant cities and the people who inhabit them comprising the street photographer's main subject matter.
On this six-week course, run by renowned street photographers Stephen McLaren and Matt Stuart, you will learn how to improve your camera skills and your ability to see the potential for great street photographs in London's ultra-dynamic urban setting. This is not just a walk in the park.
This course is for people who are confident with basic camera skills and who would like to discover how to be more successful and creative in taking city-based pictures.
In class you will learn about the history of this genre, see historical slideshow presentations, understand your legal rights, learn how to edit your pictures and watch videos of some of the form's greatest practitioners.
Outside the classroom, the approach will be very hands-on.  Matt and Stephen will take you to a number of locations across London where street photographers often capture their best pictures and work hard on improving your technique. In addition, there will be visits to key exhibitions.
At the end of the course, the class will review their work and edit a selection of pictures, which will be submitted as a book project to one of the online photo-book publishers
