Some of the best creative talent from Kent will be exhibited during February and March in No. 1 Smithery: The Gallery – a new contemporary exhibition space of the highest standard, designed to attract national and international touring exhibitions to the region for the first time. Paintings, sculptures and mixed media artworks are all represented in this inspiring and diverse art exhibition. Works of art from a number of extremely established artists from the region are on show, some of whom have exhibited both nationally and internationally. These include Stephen Turner, plus Marissa Mardon, Fiona Watt and Jane Pitt from the NUCLEUS Arts Centre (formerly the New Art Centre) the largest artist's studio complex in North Kent.
