News From The School Creative Centre, Rye

Performance poetry evening and Nick Archer's painting exhibition this weekend at The School Creative Centre.
The School Creative Centre

We have an exciting weekend ahead here, with a vibrant mix of performance poetry and painting.

This Friday and Sunday you are warmly invited to a sneak preview of Nick Archer's dramatic new work before it travels to the Paris Art Fair at the Grand Palais next week!  There will be two viewing opportunities, on Friday 11th March between 6.30 and 8.30pm and on Sunday 13th March between 5 and 7pm.  Please contact Nick for more information.

Check out this Sunday's performance poetry event presented by Apples & Snakes, the UK's leading organisation for performance poetry.  As well as the scheduled performers who have been invited from across London and the South East to attend a residential weekend, there is an open mic slot to give local performance poets, rappers and spoken word artists the opportunity to perform in front of Apples & Snakes, so you can have a go yourselves or just come along to see and hear the newest wave of talent!  Doors open 5.30pm, £3 on the door.
