Artists are invited to submit to Pushing Print's third open submission print exhibition. This event provides an opportunity for print makers and artists, whose work responds to print, to showcase their work in an exhibition across 2 venues in Margate's Old Town from 8th - 29th Oct 2011.
Submission deadline 5pm Mon 22nd August.
Submission this year will be by one of two methods:
Online submission -Pushing Print are currently developing a new website, due to be launched mid June, which will enable them to receive online submissions.
Postal submissions - Submission forms and guidelines can be found on the website www.pushingprint.co.uk
Once again Pushing Print will be running a supporting programme of events throughout October including the ever popular Giant Print event and a heritage exhibition entitled
'Mind your p's and q's' which will highlight Margate's historical associations with the printing industry.
The theme of this years programme of talks, demonstrations and workshops will be letterpress, text and associated subjects.
Pushing Print would be happy to hear from any artists, whose practise includes letterpress ot text, who are interested in giving a talk, running a workshop or demonstration.
